In 1963, when I was novice. My first one was a domestic contest on 80m CW. I still have the award in my shack.
What are your goals in contesting?
To be more in supportive role. Contest station development like antenna design etc. Also strategy and other conceptual matters inspire me.
Which are your favorite contests and why?
CQWW. High activity, good propagation, well organized, good rules
Most memorable Contest, explain why
Multi-multi operations from OH1AA in the 1970’s. Mostly because of very good team spirit
Sweetest Victory, why
CQWW CW 80m in 1977 as CT3/OH1TV (New world record)
